♥ Chicken Tinola ♥ Dish #1
12:51:00
Ok, peeps. Starting from now on, I'm going to call my readers 'honeybunchkins'. Haha!
So, hello, honeybunchkinks! :) That is just cringy! :p Today, I decided to post a Filipino dish under 30 minutes and is perfect for cold seasons!
Without any further do, here's the ingredients that you will need:
1 pack Pak Choi or Chinese Cabbage
any desired amount of mushroom
1/4 tablespoon of salt
4 tbsp. Fish Sauce or 2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
1/2 sliced onion
2 cloves of onion (crushed)
1 medium ginger (crushed and sliced)
1 tomato (sliced)
Spring Onions
Corn fed chicken
(for this, I bought whole chicken then I just chopped them and set aside the chicken fillet)
4 cups warm water
Step 1
Make sure that you wash your chicken. Then, put the chicken in the cooking bowl with all the spices except the spring onions. Leave it there for 15 min.
Step 2
While you're waiting for 15 minutes, make sure you peek at them ever 3-5 minutes and mix them as you didn't put water in it. The leftover water after washing the chicken is enough at this step. By doing this, the chicken will absorb all the goodness from the spices.
Step 3
Add the 4 cups of warm water. The warm water will make it quicker to boil.
Step 4
Add the four tablespoon of Fish sauce or the 2 tablespoon of Soy Sauce. Then carefully stir it.
Step 5
Add the 1/4 tablespoon of salt and again, carefully stir it. You can add more salt according to your desired taste. Don't make it too salty!
Step 6
Finally, add your mushrooms, Chinese cabbage and spring onions. Make sure you don't overcook the vegetables! Then, voila! You're done :)
I hope you'll try this and let me know if you like it :) Godbless.
Take care.
xoxo, Xyza ♥
